Description

Microcable Multitube HDPE

The multitube microcable is available in 12 to 144 optical fibres. It consists of a multi loose tube structure with optical fibres and a anti-moisture filling compound in each. A FRP central strength core element provides stability to the cable for aerial microducts assembly. It has an HDPE jacket for better performance when used on outdoor links.

Features

The cable is recommended for installation in underground microducts, in facades, or in ducts. It offers good mechanical resistance for outdoor environments. It is a dielectric cable suitable for building-to-building and campus links.

Available in 12, 24, 48, 96 and 144 optical fibres.

Benefits

• Savings in cable installation time and costs
• Easy stripping
• Available in single mode only
• Air (blown) assembly

Modules

The cable is recommended for microducts mounting, its mechanical resistance comes from the central strength element. This is surrounded by loose tubes containing from 12 to 144 optical fibres each.

• Modules protected with gel against humidity
• Easy access to fibres
• Easy stripping
• Small diameter
